At ISPA, the protection of our students and staff is our top priority. We are committed to creating a safe and secure environment for everyone who joins our performers community. Our policies are designed to uphold these principles, with a strong focus on health and safety, anti-bullying, and guidelines that we strictly follow. We are proud and we will continue to ensure that our school remains a safe and supportive place.
Welcome to ISPA - Insync Perfroming Arts School. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students, staff, and visitors. This policy outlines our expectations and procedures regarding behaviour, safeguarding, wellness, first aid, bullying, uniform, equal opportunities, and data protection.
1. Behaviour Respect and Courtesy:
All students, staff, and visitors are expected to treat each other with respect and courtesy at all times.
- Disrespectful or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Punctuality: Students are expected to arrive on time for their classes and rehearsals. Consistent lateness may result in review and potential disciplinary action.
-Classroom Etiquette: Students should follow the instructions of their teachers and maintain a positive and cooperative attitude during classes.
2. Safeguarding Child Protection:
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children. All staff are required to undergo regular safeguarding training and background checks.

-Reporting Concerns: Any concerns regarding a child's welfare should be reported immediately to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) - Miss Georgia.

-Safe Environment: We ensure a safe environment by regularly checking our premises and maintaining appropriate supervision ratios.

-ISPA has a duty of care to safeguard all children from harm whilst involved in tuition, practice and performance DURING THE TIME THEY ARE IN CLASS UNDER SUPERVISION.
3. Wellness of Students, Staff, and Visitors

-Mental Health Support: We provide resources and support for mental health and wellness. Staff are trained to recognize signs of mental distress and know how to offer support or refer to professional services.​

-Physical Health: Students are encouraged to listen to their bodies and report any injuries or health concerns. Staff will provide guidance on injury prevention and management.

-Healthy Environment: The premises are maintained to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness to ensure the health and safety of everyone.
4. First AidFirst Aid Kits:
A Fully stocked first aid kit is available In Everyone room during class.

-Trained Staff: Your first aider Miss Georgia is trained in first aid and CPR. Their training is updated regularly.

-Accident Reporting: Any accidents or injuries must be reported immediately to a staff member, who will complete an incident report form.
5. Bullying Zero Tolerance:
We have a zero-tolerance policy towards bullying in any form, including physical, verbal, and cyberbullying.

-Reporting and Response: Any instances of bullying should be reported to a staff member. All reports will be taken seriously and investigated promptly.

-Support for Victims: Victims of bullying will receive support, and appropriate actions will be taken to ensure their safety and well-being.
6. Uniform Dress Code:
All students are required to adhere to the school's dress code. This includes appropriate dancewear and footwear specific to each class type. We prefer for children to wear all black or ISPA merch during class, however, the main importance is that children are comfortable and able to move around freely in appropriate clothing.
Personal Appearance: Hair should be neatly tied back, and jewelry should be minimal to prevent injury.
Uniform Supply: Uniforms can be purchased through the school's approved suppliers.
7. Equal Opportunities:
Inclusive Environment: We are committed to providing an inclusive environment where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their background, abilities, or circumstances.

-Accessibility: We strive to ensure that our facilities and programs are accessible to everyone, including those with disabilities. Although we do not offer SEN classes we look to welcome those with SEN into classes where appropriate.

We comply with all relevant data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
